Trip to Nenskra and Nakra Gorges

On 28-30, May ICCT team re-discovered Upper Svaneti while a trip to Nenskra and Nakra Gorges. We were delegated with a special mission to promote sustainable rural tourism. Introductory meetings with local communities encouraged us to start improvement of capacity and opportunities for motivated members' engagement in such a necessary business. Most of the participants expressed their willingness for involvement in training offered by ICCT experts. Our NGO has shared with a number of aimfully useful suggestions to promote this region as a particularly attractive touristic destination.
