EaPTC EU CBC Armenia – Georgia Project “Biking and rural combined cross-border tourism, as innovative approach for promoting cross-border cooperation”

1st in Georgia Cycle Camp Base shortly open near Borjomi, Samtskhe Javakheti Region. This event will happen in the frame EU funded , EaPTC and GIZ project Armenia - Georgia.

International Center for Caucasus Tourism, in the frame of Rural Development program , plans to visit communities resided near National Parks and Protected Areas in Georgia.

Local population will be provided with training, devoted to positive and negative impacts of rural tourism on environment. Experts working in the fields of Ecology, Biology and Sustainable Rural Tourism will be invited. Yesterday we visited Kintrishi Protected Area ( Mountainous Adjara) . This is real paradise on the earth.

Yesterday we attended the Consultancy meeting organized by National Authority - Ministry of Euro Atlantic Integration Georgia and conducted by the experts of JMA. http://blacksea-cbc.net/. There were presented and discussed number of issues interested by the participants - the potential applicants and partners of the EU this program.
